  • About this project

The garden of a converted farmhouse, located in the Hampshire countryside, was designed to suit a busy family life. The outdoor dining space is sunken to improve privacy and is separated from the main garden with a raised box hedge. The raised deck creates a large functional area and from this brick paths lead into an outdoor play area separated from the main garden, ideal for the owners three children. The main garden is screened from surrounding buildings by beech hedging and hazel hurdles. Recessed up-lighters fill the lower canopies of the established trees and miniature LED deck lights outline the steps off the deck.
